Diamond Badge within 2 years of going solo

One of our young members Jordan Johnson, has today been flying at Denbigh and gained his Diamond height badge. Climbing from a low point of 964’ to 19081’ an overall gain 18117.

I haven’t had the opportunity but the CFI Chris Gill has checked and confirmed all.

Not many pilots get their Diamond height within two years of going solo. It does just show what can be achieved through enthusiasm. Well done Jordan - congratulations. Your persistence has paid off!!

Not Once but Twice

Jordan was sure he had made the Diamond height at first attempt, but to make sure he went back up again, as the altitude trace makes clear. He managed Diamond height twice, but can only claim one badge!
