Midlands Air Festival: 2nd-4th June 2023

The Midlands Air Festival again took place on the above dates, at the Ragley Hall Estate, Arrow, Warwickshire. B49 5NJ     52°11’46”N / 001°53’55”W.

Large groups of hot air balloons took off from 05.00 – 08.00 and 19.00 – 20.00

The air display ran from 12.00 – 18.30. Participants included large military jet formations, fast  solo jets both classic and military, warbird formations, high energy aerobatics, rotary and a large parachute team.  On Friday 2nd June  in the evening had pyrotechnic air display and short firework display finale.  The Royal Airforce Red Arrows displayed on the 2nd & 3rd June.

As Official Parters, Bidford Gliding and Flying Club had on of the club gliders at the event for the duration of the event. We used this an an opportunity to talk about the club, what we do for gliders and power craft and answer any questions the club had.
