Wings & Wheels Café opening Friday 17th November
BFGC, Bidford Airfield, Honeybourne Road, Bidford-on-Avon, B50 4PD
The Wings & Wheels Café will be operational from Friday 17th November 2023. It will start with a Winter Service, offering food and refreshments each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Once the Gliding season starts next year the opening hours and food options will be extended. Please welcome our Café manager Karen Spicer.
Wings & Wheels Café Members Christmas Dinner: Friday 8th December 2023
The Wings & Wheel Café will be serving a Christmas Dinner for club members and friends on Friday, 8th December 2023. This will include 3 courses and refreshments from the club bar. Places are filling up, so if you wish to come, please check the menu, the choices and if you wish to book click on the book button.
2024 Bidford Regionals are back: 22nd June to 30th June, 2024.
The entry list for the 2024 Bidford Regionals is now open. The dates are June 22nd to June 30th 2024. If you would like to join us for probably the most friendly and relaxed comp in the BGA calendar, you can do so via our RoboControl site.

Want to Glide?
At Bidford Gliding & Flying Club you will be trained by qualified flying instructors in gliders built for the purpose of training pilots and your instruction follows the British Gliding Association Training Syllabus.
Introductory Flights
Whether you have chosen to take an Introductory Flight yourself, or bought one as a gift for another, we can guarantee a very special experience. At Bidford Gliding & Flying Club your adventure will be one flying in a pure glider which will be towed into the air by a powerful aircraft, this method of launching the glider is called an aerotow.
Facilities
We provide a wide range of facilities at the club, including options for accommodation, including; a camping site, with space for caravans and tents; The Chalet, with a capacity of 3; and The Shack, containing a double bed. The airfield also has its own cafe & bar, providing a range of meals from breakfast to evening meals.
